Raman Research Institute Roles and Responsibilities
The selected candidates will contribute to:
- Developing particle-based simulations and Linear Response Theory for driven soft amorphous matter.
- Creating simulations and analytical frameworks for non-reciprocal systems and odd granular matter in the Soft, Living & Intelligent Matter Group under PI: Dr. Rituparno Mandal.

Remuneration
- Salary: ₹31,000/- per month (consolidated) + House Rent Allowance (HRA).
Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualifications
- Educational Qualification:
- M.Sc./M.Tech or B.E./B.Tech in any relevant field.
- Moderate knowledge of statistical mechanics and some exposure to soft condensed matter.
Desirable Skills
- Expertise in coding (C, FORTRAN, Python preferred).
- Familiarity with:
- Particle-based simulations and spin-model simulations.
- Analytical calculations using tools like Mathematica.
- Advanced data analysis techniques.
- Knowledge of AI or Machine Learning tools (unsupervised learning, deep neural networks, etc.) is an added advantage but not mandatory.
Age Limit
- Maximum: 35 years (as on the application closing date).
