C-MET Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria
For Direct Recruitment
Educational Qualification:
Master’s in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Material Science) with 25 years of experience.
OR Master’s in Engineering/Technology (Electronics, Electrical, Communications, Telecommunications, Chemical, Material Engineering) with 22 years of experience.
OR Ph.D. in related fields with 17 years of experience.
Experience:
At least 5 years in senior management.
Desirable: Project management experience in material engineering or device technology, with knowledge of global technology trends.
Age Limit: 50 years (relaxable as per government norms).
For Deputation/Absorption
Eligibility:
Holding analogous posts or 3 years of service in Level 13A pay scale (₹1,31,100 – ₹2,16,600).
Must meet educational qualifications as required for direct recruits.
Age Limit: Maximum 58 years (as of the closing date).

Overall management and strategy development for C-MET.
Leading and guiding professional teams across multiple labs.
Preparing and implementing annual plans and budgets.
Exercising financial and administrative powers as per C-MET’s charter.
