This program, under the Apprentices Act, 1961, offers a chance for eligible candidates to undergo one year of hands-on training in various disciplines at airports across the Northern Region.

AAI, established on April 1, 1995, by merging the National Airports Authority and International Airports Authority of India, is responsible for managing the civil aviation infrastructure in the country. This apprenticeship program aims to provide practical training to fresh graduates, diploma holders, and ITI-certified professionals in the aviation sector, preparing them for future career opportunities.

Eligibility Criteria
- Domicile: Applicants must belong to the Northern Region, including Chandigarh, Delhi, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Leh Ladakh, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand.
- Educational Qualifications:
- Graduate Apprentices: Full-time 4-year degree in Engineering.
- Diploma Apprentices: Full-time 3-year diploma in Engineering.
- ITI Trade Apprentices: Relevant ITI/NCVT certificates.
- Year of Passing: Candidates who graduated in or after 2020 are eligible.
- Age: 18–26 years as of October 31, 2024. Relaxations apply as per government norms.

Stipend Details
- Graduate Apprentices: ₹15,000 per month
- Diploma Apprentices: ₹12,000 per month
- ITI Apprentices: ₹9,000 per month

Selection Process
- Shortlisting: Based on the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
- Interview/Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will receive notifications via their registered email IDs.
- Final Selection: Based on performance in the interview and medical fitness verification.

General Instructions
- Candidates must not have undergone prior apprenticeship training or have work experience of 1 year or more.
- No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview/document verification.
- Apprenticeships do not guarantee permanent employment with AAI.
