Vacancies and Eligibility

Total Vacancies: 36

  • Maximum 7 vacancies are reserved for women candidates.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Education:
    • Passed 10+2 (Senior Secondary Examination) with at least 70% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM).
    • Minimum 50% marks in English (either in Class X or Class XII).
  • JEE (Main) 2024:
    Candidates must have appeared for JEE (Main) 2024 (B.E./B.Tech) and have a valid Common Rank List (CRL).

Age Limit:

  • Born between 2 January 2006 and 1 July 2008 (both dates inclusive).

Training Details

  • Course Duration: Four years.
  • Degree Awarded: B.Tech in Applied Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or Electronics & Communication Engineering by Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU).
  • Location: Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala.

Selection Process

  1. Shortlisting:
    • Based on JEE (Main) 2024 All India CRL Rank.
    • Only shortlisted candidates will receive SSB interview call-ups via email/SMS.
  2. SSB Interview:
    • Scheduled at Bangalore, Bhopal, Kolkata, or Visakhapatnam from March 2025 onwards.
    • Includes a detailed evaluation of physical and mental capabilities.
  3. Medical Examination:
    • Final selection will be subject to medical fitness as per Navy standards.
  4. Merit List:
    • Based on SSB marks.
